When Madeline and I found out the Stony Brook University was working to raise funds for their new Children’s Hospital, we knew that Chocology had to be a part of it. As with our other fundraisers, $1.00 of every purchase of our Fat Ass Fudge will go to the charity that you choose at check out. $2.00 will go to your charity on orders of $50 or more. One of the wonderful things about supporting Stony Brook Children’s Hospital is that the Knapp-Swezey Foundation has issued the Knapp Swezey Children’s Challenge , offering up a 2.5 million dollar grant, matching dollar for dollar all donations given through June 30, 2016. This means that when you order Fat Ass Fudge and choose the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital as your charity, your donation money doubles.
Where will your money go when you choose Stony Brook Children’s Hospital as your Chocology charity? The new building will feature a pediatric intensive care unit, adolescent unit, procedure suite, hematology/oncology unit, medical/surgical units and modern patient and family amenities and advanced ideas in medicine for kids.
